Southview Acres Health Care Center is recruiting for an MDS Coordinator to become a part of our team. As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and assuring the completion of the RAI/MDS process. This position is responsible for Medicare and MDS process.
Additional responsibilities of the MDS Coordinator include:
Conducting Patient Assessments
Developing Patient Care Plans
Making Patient and Facility Recommendations
Overseeing Medicare and Medicaid Programs
Providing Facility Support
MDS nurses are vital to the operations and patient care practices of long-term care facilities, particularly those that receive federal funding or reimbursement.
Qualifications and skills include:
Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
MDS certification
Medical assessment
Patient care
Attention to detail and critical thinking
Organization skills
Communication skills
