Analyst and Program Coordinator, Class Programs and Reunion Campaigns - Office of Advancement - Georgetown University

The Job

The Analyst and Program Coordinator supports the entire Class Programs and Reunion Campaigns (CPRC) team through the development and creation of in-depth analysis, assessment of team-wide and individual performance, guidance into resource allocation and investment, and implementation of team trainings and professional development. This individual reports to and serves as a key adviser to the Assistant Vice President on goal setting, performance review, and strategic planning. Applicants should possess a strong ability and interest in conducting analysis, exemplary communication and time management skills, attention to detail, and an interest in higher education and/or nonprofit philanthropy.

Position Responsibilities

  • Quantify and qualify CPRC results and assess them within the context of overall Advancement goals and performance measures
  • Develop specific goals and projections for team performance
  • Measure and report upon team performance
  • Manage data collection and dissemination and perform a wide array of analysis
  • Monitor budget activity and project and analyze fiscal performance
  • Assist in employee hiring, orientation, training, and professional development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience, preferably in metrics/analysis in a development/fundraising or similar environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated track record of academic rigor
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Desire to contribute to and participate in the mission of the Office of Advancement
  • Motivated, self-starter
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Professional and collegial demeanor and ability to exercise diplomacy
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at once with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Experience and comfort with developing and performing complex metrics and analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and time management
  • Experience working with customers and/or volunteers
  • Ability to handle confidential matters on a regular basis

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days on campus, 3 days telework). Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University.
