Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, food preparation, and customer service. This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist customers with menu selection and provide excellent customer service
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of products
- Restock deli counter and monitor inventory levels

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a deli, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic retail math
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $13.90 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
