POSITION: Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Job Description

As a recruiter, you will play a critical role in sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to join our team. As a valuable member of our Human Resources team, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from initial job posting to candidate placement. Finding the right people for the right role is vital to the success of our growing company.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (schedule is open to flexibility within normal business hours). The pay range is $50k-$65k/year dependent on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to attract diesel mechanic and other labor candidates
• Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, industry networks, trade schools, and referral programs to source qualified candidates.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the required qualifications and experience criteria.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and fit for the role.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
• Manage candidate communication and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices to adjust recruitment strategies as needed.
• Assist with other recruitment-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and practices
• Knowledge of recruitment cycle and process
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
• Good time management and organization skills
• Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel
• Ability to multi-task
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is a plus
