The team

Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes—is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000 professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.

The GPS Strategy offering leads strategic planning & portfolio management and reporting & monitoring workstreams. This includes day-to-day client interaction and leads to the creation of relevant resources and materials (such as strategic plans, roadmaps, etc.) and work products (such as development of performance metrics, tracking dashboards, etc.) in order to successfully implement client vision.

The work you’ll do:

  • Gather, synthesize, and interpret market data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making with significant mission impact.
  • Conduct comprehensive market assessments, competitive analyses, and industry benchmarking studies to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats to national security.
  • Leverage your expertise in open-source research methodologies and data analysis techniques, you will develop compelling reports, presentations, and recommendations that guide our clients in understanding market dynamics, technology trends, and competitive positioning.

QualificationsRequired:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of Market Research, Analysis, or Government Consulting experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance required for this role
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week

Preferred:

  • Strong open-source research and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to diverse stakeholders and cross functional teams
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
