COST ESTIMATOR

Bring your eye for detail and passion for machining to a fast-growing component manufacturer! A family-owned company, Dynomax designs, manufactures and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Machinist to make the move to an engineering role.

The Cost Estimator is part of the Engineering Team and will develop quotations which encompass the total cost of manufacturing engineered components and assemblies: Material Machining, Processing, Hardware, Fixtures and Assembly. The Cost Estimator will interact with all levels of the organization, and external suppliers, to provide accurate estimates.

Cost Estimator Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist or estimating machined components
  • Ability to utilize CAD software to review part data
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and how that affects manufacturability
  • Ability to work with very different product and Engineering groups, with different needs

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with Epicor ERP System
  • Experience in a machining and assembly environment
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Experience with Solidworks and CATIA
  • Experience with machining of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Titanium
