Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

• Supervises nursing team members who provide direct residentcare
• Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners
• Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by thephysician and agreed to by the resident
• Documents resident status/care/services in a timely, accurate,and comprehensive manner
• Responsible for the provision of nursing services within thescope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice andcorporate/care center policies and procedures
• Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health andwell-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state)RN or LPN license
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care (LTC) preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursingfacility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and PublicSafety
• If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing (IBON)requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6)months of working in a charge/supervisory capacity
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS),COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religiousaccommodations when reasonable

Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift (2p-10p), Flexible Scheduling; approx. forty (40) hours/wk
Wage Range*: $30.00/hr-$36.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Base Wage: $30.00/hr (RN) and $27.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)
Years ofExperience Incentive Pay: $0.10/per year, up to ten (10) years
2nd Shift Differential: $3.00/hr
Weekend Differential: $2.00/hr
