Job Posting: Data Entry Clerk - 28836

Immediate Need, Direct-Hire, Entry Level

Position Type: Full Time, Regular

Shift: M-F 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $14/hr

Job Summary: Performs the data entry function to update automated records; verifies accuracy of work.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Batches documents
• Keys data from source documents in a timely and efficient manner
• Performs acceptable volume of work in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
• Performs verification duties as required
• Keys correcting entries as indicated by verification or other warning
• May troubleshoot data problems
• May operate peripheral equipment
• May assist in the development of production formats and keying procedures
• Demonstrates high levels of safety awareness and notifies the supervisor of potential hazards
• Follows security and privacy policies, standards, and guidelines
• Performs other duties as required
• Repetitive motion is required: may require twisting/bending/climbing
• Required to work at the computer for long periods
• Required to stand, walk, simple grasp, reach with hands and arms

Minimum Qualifications:

• H.S. diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Required to work at the computer for long periods

Physical Requirements:

• Required to regularly sit, talk or hear
• Required to possess close vision and the ability to focus
• Conditions may include office environment, computer room, production floor, warehouse, and shipping/receiving
• Occasional exposure to dust, dirt, toner, ink, and other environmental factors is possible
• Repetitive motion is required; may require twisting/bending/climbing
• May lift up to 25 lbs. frequently

Prior Helpful Experience May Include:

• Previous experience with data entry desirable

Pay Disclosure:

"The pay range for this position starts at $14.00; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
