Company Information:

Our customer designs and develops Software defined radio scanners to help determine cellular carrier and public safety coverage. The Hardware Engineer will have the opportunity to be involved with the entire product design life cycle including design, verification, testing, debugging and production support.

Description:

•Perform Product Validation from a customer perspective for new products and features

•Develop test strategies, requirements, plans, procedures and test cases for feature validation

•Execute test cases, including customer applications when available, in labs and/or at field sites, and verifies RF data accuracy

•Write defect reports and enter into defect tracking system as necessary; verifies fixes

•Contribute domain knowledge and experience to enhance product functionality, usability, and quality

•Support product development team by providing customer-centric feedback concerning the features and performance of products

•Work with minimum supervision

•Work with Technical Support, and directly with customers, to investigate customer issues and integration thru analysis and experience

•Work effectively as a team member with Engineering, Technical Support, and Quality

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field, or equivalent practical experience

•Minimum 5 years related-work experience

•Exposure or intermediate experience with testing and troubleshooting P25 public safety networks

•Verbal and written communication skills in the English language

•Skills in problem identification, investigation, and issue resolution

•Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•Customer-facing situations and presentations

•Interacting cross-functionally with various departments, especially Product Management, Engineering & Technical Support
