Job Purpose:

The Behavioral Health Therapist will be part of a comprehensive Behavioral Health team that provides consultation, direct patient care and acts as a liaison in the outpatient clinics between the Behavioral Health service line., Primary Care, and Urgent Care service line. A BHOT at Duke City day to day duties may include, but are not limited to, various task such as part of an integrated care team. The BHOT identifies, evaluates, and manages clients with behavioral health problems within variety of settings. Performs counseling, crisis interventions, therapeutic and case management for each client assigned to include assessments, diagnosis, and care planning. Intervention such as counseling clients/ significant others, facilitating brief sychotherapy and educational groups, and planning discharge.
