DUIT CONSTRUCTION is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Walters, OK
Responsibilities:
- Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment, including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.
- Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
- Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches.
- Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.
- Uses equipment to prepare job site.
- Operates machinery used to build roads and bridges.
- Perform daily inspection of equipment.
- Performs routine maintenance and repairs.
- Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.
- Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
- Perform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require.
- Work within defined standards of accuracy.
- Work in various weather conditions, including temperatures over 85 and below 40 degrees.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean MVR
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work overtime, as requested.
- On-the-job training offered.
- Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to see and hear well (naturally or with correction.)
