Position: Construction Management Intern
Location: LaGrange, Illinois
Duration: 8-week summer program

Overview: This internship is designed for junior or senior college students aspiring to learn and grow into an Associate Estimator/Associate Project Manager position upon graduation. The focus will be on pre-construction and project management aspects within an industrial electrical construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the electrical construction industry.
• Learn the basics of electrical estimating and project management through a comprehensive 8-week program.
• Demonstrate a quick learning ability and take self-development initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with the team.
• Possess good listening skills and follow directions attentively.
• Utilize technology proficiently (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Exhibit curiosity and ask well-thought-out questions.
• Work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Construction Management program or a related field.
• Junior or Senior standing in college.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Strong math aptitude skills.
• Effective communicator with both verbal and written skills.
• Demonstrated interest in developing a career within the construction industry.
