A global prop shop in Chicago that is looking to bring on a Software Developer (Python) focused on building out the next generation research platform for their firm. You will work closely with quants, traders, and researchers to design and develop custom products/tooling to support their research infrastructure. This is a greenfield project, and therefore, will give you the opportunity to test your skills in building products from scratch and end to end.
The right candidate will have:
- Worked with large data sets, distributed systems, and microservices
- Extensive working experience developing in Python (5 years)
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
