We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team; no prior experience is necessary . The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with school-aged children and families in our award-winning school district. The ideal candidate will be working within a "unified" school district and will be committed to ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education.

OPEN ROLES:

· School Licensed Practical Nurse

• Full-time , part-time and per diem shifts available!

LOCATIONS:

· Nassau County- multiple locations

• Suffolk County- multiple locations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE:

· Working 1:1 with students with disabilities

• ensure the well-being and comfort of patients while adhering to medical standards and protocols
• Monitoring and recording evidence of student’s learning and progress
• Nurse office coverage as needed
• provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, assisting with medication administration

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current NYS LPN license

• Up to date CPR card
• Fingerprinting
• Up-to-date medical documentation (i.e. physical, titers, quantiFERON)
