Role: Associate Director, US AML Marketing
Location: Madison
Position Summary:
The US AML Marketing team is seeking an Associate Director who will be responsible for leading key marketing activities and strategy to deliver on business objectives in Acute Myeloid Leukemia. As part of this team, you will be a key contributor to developing brand strategy, leading matrix collaboration, and managing agency partners to execute initiatives aligned to personal and non-personal promotional strategy.
This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work with a high degree of autonomy, in a dynamic environment utilizing strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
This role will report to the Director of US AML Marketing. US Marketing experience and experience in Hematology/Oncology is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive and own key initiatives that support AML's core growth drivers
  • Partner with market research and analytics colleagues to identify, analyze, and report key performance indicators
  • Support business/ performance updates and go-to-market strategy development for executive leadership
  • Develop tactical plan aligned to brand strategy and support smart budgeting process
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional partners (Medical, Sales, Training, VAP, BI&A, etc.) to advance strategy and mobilize action plans
  • Manage annual promotional budgets and ensure proper execution
  • Lead internal review processes and work with external partners to ensure timely and accurate preparation of tactics
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5-7 years of pharmaceutical experience with a background in marketing, and/or sales and market access
  • Track record for driving brand performance through collaboration and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication skills to provide expectations and strategic vision for other functions
  • Initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in a complex, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated learning agility, strong project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage agencies/vendors to budget
  • Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally
  • Bachelors degree required; graduate degree preferred.
