Position: Barista
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager
Department: Food & Beverage
Position Summary: The barista is the face of The Gallery dining room, greeting guests in a friendly manner, preparing coffee drinks, and selling breakfast and lunch items.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•Greet customers in a friendly manner.
•Take and prepare coffee drink orders.
•Sell breakfast and lunch items to guests.
•Take payment from customers.
•Keep work environment clean and stocked.
Qualifications:
•1-year experience in Barista role preferred.
•Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
•Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to work between the hours of 6am - 4pm, as well as holidays/weekends.
•Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly.
