Eastridge is Hiring an Inventory Control Analyst Near Brea, CA

We are looking for a skilled Inventory Control Analyst for a leading wholesale motor vehicles and parts company located in the vibrant city of Brea to help them manage and optimize their inventory processes. Type: Direct Hire, Hybrid

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary: $67,000 to $70,000 annually

Principal Tasks:

  • Forecast U.S. market demand for spare parts using a 36-month historical analysis and determine parts requirements for new models.
  • Manage the procurement of parts domestically and overseas to meet department goals regarding supply rates, shipment rates, and inventory control, while maintaining air freight costs within budget.
  • Monitor daily backorder results, placing urgent orders with vendors to meet immediate needs and ensuring expedited parts delivery at distribution centers.
  • Oversee purchase order activities, coordinating with vendors and distribution centers to ensure timely order receipt and invoice processing.
  • Address Parts Inquiry Reports (PIR) related to shipping, packaging, and quality issues, coordinating with vendors and parts management for necessary adjustments.
  • Support the Inventory Control Manager in tasks like obsolescence parts destruction, parts kit updates, and system improvements.
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of parts master records and support internal staff with parts information inquiries.
  • Oversee cycle counts at distribution centers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory checks.
  • Independently manage parts orders to maintain inventory levels, ensuring high dealer and customer satisfaction and addressing any vendor or supply issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in high volume inventory control or spare parts purchasing.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Coursework in statistics, mathematics, or forecasting models.
  • Experience in the motorcycle or automotive parts industry.
