DPS Group is seeking a Process Technical Manager to support our Top Tier Biopharma Client in the Dallas area. Key Responsibilities
Team leadership of Process, Automation and C&V groups.
Direct client technical engineering input to scope definition, specification and procurement for all process equipment.
Direction, approval, and acceptance of all A/E firm process engineering design deliverables
Direction, approval, and acceptance of equipment package bid analyses.
Lead engineering input into overall facility layout and design.
Lead the engineering input to the development of detailed capital project execution schedule
Provide engineering leadership into developing cost and resource estimates for project.
Manage process design quality and design change.
Provide direction for the development of general procedures, metrics and deliverables in support of successful delivery of the project objectives on time and within budget.
Identify project risks and opportunities and propose mitigation plans.
Ability to effectively communicate, interact and collaborate with team members and external stakeholders is essential.
You will provide high-expertise technical support for the manufacturing, cleaning, and packaging of DS products and components at our external suppliers, including process optimization, and verification/validation activities
The Principal Process Engineer will be a part of at least two Supplier Focused Teams and collaborate with partners in EMSI, Supplier Quality, Source, et al
In additional to engineering and manufacturing fundamentals, you will use Lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management tools and skills to improve supplier reliability, resolve technical issues that affect quality or delivery of product, and reduce the cost of manufacturing
Lead technical development and implementation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Lead improvement projects at suppliers using Lean, Six Sigma, FPX, etc
Deliver Supplier Reliability through process/technical issue remediation
Skills & Qualifications
At least 8 years of manufacturing, quality engineering, or manufacturing/process engineering experience

Strong understanding of process engineering
Ability to read and understand drawings/part prints and other technical documents
