iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Houma, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleets' needs.

We are looking for a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department in Baton Rouge, LA, working a Monday-Friday shift.

The ideal candidate will be:

•Dependable and punctual.

•Have at least one-year experience working as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic.

Responsibilities:

•Able to troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctioning.

•Perform routine PM, such as oil changes, checking/changing batteries, etc.,

•Perform Warranty Maintenance.

•Other duties as assigned, must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
