STAN'S ARTISAN BREADS was created by Chief Doughboy Rich Labriola, who is regarded as one Chicago's premier artisan bakers. Rich utilized his fine-tuned 30 years of baking and production experience, and opened up Stan's Donuts & Coffee in 2014. Since then, Stan's has grown to multiple locations in the Chicagoland area with a committed retail donut program serving up only the finest donuts.

Stan's Artisan Breads is a natural extension for the Chief Doughboy. It is all about the dough!

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced baker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial baking processes and be proficient in operating bakery equipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
  • Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent product quality
  • Monitor baking processes, including oven temperatures and baking times
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in baking
  • Knowledge of industrial baking equipment and processes
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
