We are seeking a Senior Data Management Engineer to support our talented team's efforts in developing self-service data models for a financial services client. You will leverage your expertise in Data Migration to oversee all aspects of the data systems including cloud-based platforms, data pipelines, data management, and transformations.
*3 days a week onsite required
Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with the engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Responsible for managing Cloud migrations via data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS and Snowflake solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.

Required Experience

• 10 years of Data Management experience in an enterprise environment.
• 10 years of experience with Oracle and Informatica.
• 10 years of experience with SQL.
• 8 years of experience with cloud storage experience, preferably AWS.
• 5 years of working experience with Snowflake, preferably in a financial service environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with Python data framework, specifically with ETL concepts.
• Expert knowledge of metadata management, data governance, and data lineage.
• Familiar with software engineering practices, including CI/CD, Automated Testing, and Performance Engineering.
• Team player with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

$70,000 - $200,000 a year
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as role, work experience, education/training and skill level, market conditions, and the candidate's geographic location.
