We have U.S. offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Raleigh, with small satellites in other parts of the country. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join BridgeBio as the Associate Director/Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Strategy. Reporting directly to the VP, Strategic Finance, this high-impact role will be key in driving strategy and corporate finance initiatives to support the company’s growth objectives and enhance shareholder value.

Responsibilities

  • Capital Markets Strategy : Support fundraising activities, including equity and debt financing, engaging with investors alongside financial and legal advisors
  • Corporate Strategy Development : Partner with senior leadership to develop strategy by generating insights, conducting scenario analysis, and evaluating strategic alternatives
  • Strategic Financial Modeling : Develop and maintain portfolio valuation models including NPV to optimize resource allocation and integrate it into strategic planning efforts
  • M&A Pipeline Management : Identify, develop, and maintain a robust pipeline of actionable opportunities, including an overlay of the lens of overall corporate strategy
  • Investment Analysis : Thoroughly evaluate the financial impact and strategic fit of a wide array of potential corporate transactions
  • Stakeholder Communication : Clearly articulate and present financial reports, analyses, and presentations to senior management, board of directors, and key external stakeholders

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years (post-advanced degree) to 5 years (post-bachelor degree) experience in management consulting, corporate development, or related roles in the biotech industry
  • Demonstrated ability to think proactively and deeply from first principles, enabling innovative problem-solving and strategic decision-making
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise memos, research papers, and reports
  • Proficiency in storytelling through presentation slides, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a compelling and understandable manner
