Donut Bar Eastlake is looking to add 1-2 candidates to help us gear up for more production volume and expansion goals. The right candidate should have PREVIOUS experience in a bakery kitchen setting. Previous/Current experience requires knowledge of mixing different types of flours, yeast products and temperature controlled water. Must have PREVIOUS experience in handling/using an oil fryer and basic knowledge of hot commercial oven, proofing cabinet. Must be available to work 6-8 hours Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, schedule starts as early as 10am-5/6pm and sometimes 11am-6/7pm it all depends on volume and holidays. Some job duties include but are not limited to:
- Lifting 20-50lbs of flour sacks, oil boxes, etc
- Standing consistently for 2-4 hours
- Must know or be willing to learn how to properly use equipment to perform job duties
- Kneading, rolling, cutting dough
- Mixing flour, water, yeast
- Frying cake donuts
- Frying yeast donuts
- Keeping workspace and work tools, equipment clean and serviced
- Taking out trash @ end of every shift
- Sweeping, mopping of workspace
- Keeping kitchen clean and organized
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have a valid CA food handlers card
- Will have to complete a 6 hour online course & take 2 hour exam to obtain Food Managers Certificate once probation period is met. (60 days)
- Must be a team player and help co-workers if needed
- Hat, non-slip shoes, and no jewelry on hands or arms are mandatory.
