Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for our Endoscopy department. This role is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while also leading and developing a team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the clinical practice and quality outcomes within the endoscopy department, managing human resources, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role also involves contributing to the financial growth and stewardship of the department and participating in strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the Endoscopy department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
2. Promote and maintain high standards of clinical practice and quality outcomes, with a focus on minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures.
3. Lead, manage, and develop a team of nurses, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
4. Manage human resources within the department, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development.
5. Contribute to the financial growth and stewardship of the department through effective resource management and strategic planning.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage complex cases, including those related to gastrointestinal disorders, abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, bleeding, constipation, liver, pancreas and bile duct disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and motility.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
1. Must have a valid nursing license and BLS certification.
2. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
3. Proven experience in endoscopy, with a strong understanding of gastrointestinal disorders and procedures.
4. Experience in managing complex cases, including those related to abdominal pain, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, bleeding, constipation, liver, pancreas and bile duct disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and motility.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and develop a team.
6. Excellent clinical skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
7. Strong financial management skills, with experience in strategic planning and resource management.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of healthcare professionals.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in endoscopy and related fields.
