POSITION SUMMARY:

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on the hotel facility, equipment and tools, following the policies and procedures provided by the hotel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to all guest’s requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Complete work order requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition.
• Inspect public areas daily for any issues.
• After hours on-call availability if an issue arises, available some weekends.
• Provide maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices.
• Repairs may include plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, pool, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs.
• Maintain room preventative maintenance as assigned and “P” calendar duties. Give maintenance supervisor documentation of completion and consistently keep updated records on file.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Should be able to exhibit mastery of a minimum of three of trade skills such as electronic systems and controls, mechanical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, pool operations and general building maintenance.

Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, bend with ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
