Join Maven, a rapidly expanding technology firm based in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to enhance our Agile Practice. This team is composed of data management and software development experts dedicated to crafting tailored business solutions. Proficiency in Java, React, and Web Development.

The Software Developer will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software systems. They will work closely with our Enterprise Architect team to transform architectural designs into functional software, advocating for cutting-edge DevOps practices to drive continuous improvement across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and systems
• Write and manage code, ensuring integration of software components into a complete software system
• Develop and implement software verification plans, test procedures, and environments; execute tests and document outcomes to meet software requirements
• Select, customize, and apply software development processes, tools, and metrics
• Lead software research and development projects, documenting and reporting findings.
• Act as a software domain expert, addressing system-specific issues and refining processes.
• Mentor team members and promote ongoing learning to enhance software skills and organizational processes

Requirements Critical Competencies

• Skilled in developing SaaS applications.
• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on results; able to work independently with minimal daily direction
• Eager to learn and build connections to achieve objectives

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software development.
• Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MVC, MongoDB, REST APIs, Web Development, and React
• Experienced with cloud software and modern DevOps practices
• Ability to work hybrid 2 days a week onsite
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
