Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure pipeline reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

  2. Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and repeatability.

  3. Cloud Services Management: Manage cloud environments and resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Implement monitoring, logging, and security best practices.

  4. Containerization and Orchestration: Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms. Implement best practices for container security, networking, and scalability.

  5. Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and configure monitoring and alerting tools to track system performance, detect issues, and ensure uptime and reliability. Develop dashboards and alerts to proactively monitor infrastructure and applications.

  6. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards for infrastructure and applications. Configure security groups, firewall rules, and access controls. Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.

  7. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to support their needs and requirements. Troubleshoot issues, resolve technical challenges, and provide support for production systems and applications.

  8. Documentation and Training: Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to educate team members on DevOps tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related areas are a plus.

  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps roles, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms.

  3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
    • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Strong understanding of networking, security, and scalability concepts.
  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.

  5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
