LOC Credit Union, a full-service financial institution, is looking for a IT Helpdesk and Desktop Support Technician. The ideal candidate will serve an important role in helping the organization thrive through our "Let's Win. Together." principle!

This is an in person position that requires travel to branches.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsible to serve as the first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance over the phone, e-mail, or through our helpdesk ticketing application.
• Answering calls and documenting technical issues along with their resolutions in an online helpdesk ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot both hardware and software problems remotely and on-site through diagnostics and problem-solving analytics.
• Perform routine maintenance, apply security updates, and verifying equipment is up-to-date, functional, and operational while adhering to compliance and security standards.
• Assist the internal IT Department with various project deployments, maintaining hardware and software inventories, employee security awareness training, audits and examinations, while keeping daily IT computer operations running smoothly.

Experience/education:

• 2 years experience in the IT industry or related field
• Associates Degree in related area or equivalent experience
• Financial Institution experience a plus/preferred
