We’ll help you get where you want to be.Target pay rate: $50 DOEWork Schedule: 40-hour work week – on siteContract: 6 months The Master Data Administrator is responsible for ensuring SAP vendor and customer master data is up-to-date and in compliance with company practices and policies. This position interfaces with various levels of management and reports directly to the Supply Chain Advisor. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the data.Essential Duties / FunctionsWhat’s a typical day as a Master Data Administrator ? You’ll be:
  • Maintaining the safety and security of the organization's network database
  • Understanding and adhering to master data governance, policies, and procedures
  • Reviewing incoming requests for completeness and accuracy
  • Developing and maintaining data quality control procedures
  • Performing regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assisting with internal/external audit activities
  • Identifying and supporting opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiencies
  • Ensuring accuracy and proper storage of Tax and Banking documentation
  • Meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements regarding timeliness of processing vendor data new/change requests
  • Supporting vendor data cleansing activities
  • Assisting with vendor management including new vendor set-up and changes to the vendor master
  • Resolving any problems or issues arising
  • Providing excellent customer service while interfacing with customers and suppliers
  • Maintaining documentation and records per records retention policy
  • Updating process guidelines and procedures related to job role
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring KPI’s/control reports
  • Ensuring controls are in place to prevent conflicts of interest
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma (Bachelors or Associates degree in a business-related discipline preferred)
  • Have 5 to 10 years of related SAP Vendor and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance experience
  • Have ERP (SAP) vendor/customer master data system experience
  • Are able take ownership, think independently, and perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Are able interface with multiple organizations and various levels of management
  • Have skills in the Microsoft Office environment
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Are punctual, flexible, and have a sense of urgency
  • Have a strong focus on process improvement
