Role: AWS Cloud Engineer with Java (Lead/Architect) (12 Years of Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Have a strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, VPC, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC,IAM Cloud Watch, RDS, DynamoDB, and Step Functions, as well as other tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
The application functions as a large monolith using Java on on-prem servers migrate to AWS Cloud. The ongoing project aims to swiftly transition the architecture to a microservices-based approach, utilizing Java, AWS, and RDS & NoSQL databases (mainly DynamoDB or MongoDB)
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with AWS cloud technologies & Migration experience.
Strong Terraform IaaS experience.
Good Experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
Experience with DevOps & CI/CD tools - Jenkins, Cloud bees, Please Build, etc.
Proficiency with OOP languages such as Python, Java, Scala.
Proficiency working with large data stores and data sets.
Experience in streaming data, such as Kafka, Kinesis.
Deep understanding of database concepts and design for SQL (primarily) and NoSQL (secondarily)schema design, optimization, scalability, etc.

Education: Bachelors Degree
