Duties of the Accounting Mangar :

• Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff.
• Produce financial statements for the two entities
• Maintain in a timely and accurate manner the general ledger and register through reconciliation of source documents.
• Reconcile bank accounts, arrange for electronic transfer of funds and monitor cash accounts daily. Manage use and levels of the company's revolving LOC.
• Determine depreciation rates to apply to capitalized items. Book assets and liabilities from capitalized items, including leased assets.
• Prepare operational reports for management analysis, including aging accounts receivables and payables, cash position, and financials. Some reporting on a weekly basis to Sr. Management team and other key personnel within the company.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in accounting management roles with 2 years' experience in construction accounting preferred.
• Mastery of GAAP accounting in a construction environment using percentage completion method for revenue recognition preferred.
• Experience with advanced ERP accounting software, Acumatica experience highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, strong Excel skills and an attention to detail required.
