Job Description
Server Responsibilities:
The Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dinking experience for all guests. The Server establishes a relationship with the guest ensuring a pleasurable dining experience. The Server reports directly to the General Manager.
Server duties will include, but are not limited to:- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and take drink orders
- Thoroughly understand and be able to speak to all items on the menu
- Make menu recommendations to the customer
- Accurately account for all guest orders and special requests
- Ensure cleanliness of server stations
- Deliver food to guests promptly ensuring food is cooked to order and hot
- Thank guests for coming upon departure
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
- Solid Communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to life up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoop
- Ability to cross-train and work in different departments
- Server experience
- Indiana food handling certification
- Indiana license to sell/serve alcohol
The Server is either a full time or part time position and hours will vary
Salary/Income:The Server is a non-exempt, hourly position
