Honeywell Advanced Connected Solutions Technology (ACST) team is seeking a highly qualified Senior Procurement Buyer for our Chandler, AZ, Golden Valley, MN or Albuquerque, NM locational You will be responsible for procurement process for commercial and Government Buying including quotations, negotiations, order placement, material and service tracking, and problem resolution. • Citizenship Required: United States Citizenship • Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance. • Telecommute: No - Teleworking not available for this position • Travel Required: Some travel required – 20% • Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance may be available. Key Responsibilities: • Establish and drive procurement of material and services in support of business requirements • Experience with US Government purchasing procedures and practices • Procurement activities including RFQ processes, supplier selection, purchase order placement, monitoring shipment and services and supplier performance • Act as main point of contact for suppliers • Work with internal team on requirements, need dates and work to support projects and businesses • Ensure that the suppliers are acknowledging orders immediately and accurately within established lead-times U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual regulations.
