We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to design and implement cloud services that manage infrastructure and control planes on public cloud platforms. Cloud Services Engineer - Contract Role
Job Start Date: May 2024
Duration: until December 2024
Location: Remote from United States
Pay Rate Range: $55/hour to $63/hour, DPE
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement cloud services that manage infrastructure and control planes on public cloud platforms.
* Implement automation to provision, configure, manage, and monitor cloud services, sites, and offerings.
* Develop threat models to ensure the cloud platform services are secure and meet compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field involving coding/automation, or equivalent experience, or equivalent experience.
* 1 year of experience with designing, building, and operating distributed complex software systems on Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
* Experience with DevOps software development methods.
* Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
* Demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern general-purpose programming language like Java, C , Go, Python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
* Experience in full-stack development.
* Familiarity with DevOps software development methods.
* Experience with Teradata (or other RDMS) and NoSQL technologies.
* Experience with Docker container-related technologies like Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.
* Interest in coding and fixing large-scale distributed systems. Strong debugging skills with a systematic problem-solving approach to identify complex problems.
