**Job Description**

The Controls and Avionics (CAS) Aftermarket is seeking to add a Quality Control Engineer to the team. The CAS Aftermarket team is responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, and overhauling customer owned flight control systems. Our experienced staff tackles unique problems that come back from the field and ensures that the customer gets quality returns in a timely manner. We do this through a collaborative and cross functional approach in order to provide overall customer satisfaction.

Technical understanding as well as clear and confident communication are key to our pursuit of success on each and every repair.

_Within the aftermarket team, the Quality Control Engineers (QCE) are the focal points within the department for all things quality. Being in a repair center brings unique challenges and issues for the team to rally around and fix for our customer. The Aftermarket QCE position brings a unique set of challenges with varying degrees of complexity, which means that no two days are the same._

**In this role as a Quality Control Engineer supporting our Aftermarket teams you will make impacts in the following ways;**

Lead investigation efforts for repairs and ensure that the team understands the state of return, and the path to repair for our customer and end user alike.

Ensure that the team is compliant to specifications and manufacturing practices, and aides the team through inspection of workmanship in order to maintain high quality.

Physically analyze units, technically understand specifications and drawings, have a base understanding of electrical and mechanical assemblies, and be able to communicate all of these items out to technical and non-technical teams.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

2 or 4 year Engineering Degree with a year or more of relevant quality manufacturing experience and/or Co-Op, Internship experience in a quality manufacturing environment

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

Experience in manufacturing environment

Technical comprehension of electrical products

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $68700 - $116800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
