My client is currently seeking an experienced Tax Credits Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in tax credit financing, with specific expertise in areas such as renewable energy, affordable housing, and economic development.

Location: Austin, Chicago, Collin County, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Washington D.C.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert, providing comprehensive guidance to clients across all phases of the tax credit finance lifecycle.
• Offer a diverse range of services, including but not limited to:
• New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs)
• Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits (HTCs)
• Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)
• Renewable Energy Tax Credits (RETCs)
• Opportunity Zones

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the respective jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law with a focus on tax credits and related financing mechanisms.
• Proven track record of handling complex tax credit transactions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
