Vallourec North America is Hiring a Sr. Automation Engineer & Project Manager Near Houston, TX

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
  • Day-to-day troubleshooting of all electronic/electrical equipment in the MPM Pipe Mill.
  • Perform all assigned tasks and manage Electronic Technicians with various improvement projects.
  • Development of new equipment and related software/logic of all electronic/electrical equipment in the MPM Pipe Mill.
  • Participate in Maintenance improvement activities (e.g. CIT, MADE, RCA and CAPEX).
  • Provide support to other departmental functions as needed.
  • Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments.
  • Lead collaborative discussions between leadership and key stakeholders to determine automation capabilities and goals.
  • Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation.
  • Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Must have leadership and project management skills as well as problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance.
  • Knowledge and expertise with the following systems, software and related tools: CMMS (MP2), AutoCAD, RS Logix/ControlLogix, Automate/AutoMax, HMI software/screen development RS View and/or Wonderware, all Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strongorganizational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willing to work in team environment and provide support to other departmental functions as needed.
  • Ability to lead and make sound decisions working with cross-functional teams in a continuous improvement culture.
