Pay Range (Approximate): $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (※Range includes Tips)

Hourly $16.00 tips. Tips are split among all hourly staff, per day.
Various Schedules Available: Part-time, Full-time, Weekends, or just Seasonal.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Kitchen Staff at Tokyo Katsu Curry in Costa Mesa. As a Kitchen Staff Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food, as well as the smooth operation of our kitchen. Training is provided, but if you already have some kitchen skills or experience that is a plus.

Opportunities for advancement to leadership positions are available based on skills, merit, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook our curry recipe, and other Japanese dishes to order
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas as needed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff members and the restaurant management team to continuously improve the menu and kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen staff position preferred
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques, or other traditional dishes is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
