829 Studios is Hiring a Senior Client Success Strategist Near Boston, MA

The Senior Client Success Strategist will coordinate and manage all disciplines involved in supporting and further optimizing high-performing websites built or maintained by 829 Studios. The person in this role collaborates effectively with Strategy, Design, Development, Marketing, and other Client Success team members to yield high-quality work output in alignment with a project’s objectives and client’s business goals.

The Sr. Client Success Strategist will act as a primary point of contact for 829’s current web ongoing support clients while collaborating with the larger Client Success team and support developers to address various types of requests such as content updates, implementing feature enhancements or troubleshooting an issue within an existing integration. This person should have demonstrated client management skills including the ability to manage a project timeline and budget in order to set client expectations on the status and next steps through timely updates and weekly status calls. If you’re a confident communicator who can manage a variety of different project types, has an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a solution-oriented mindset, this is the job for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain WordPress & Drupal websites. Update individual pages, edit menu/navigation systems, and keep plugins current. You are a WordPress & Drupal guru who knows all the ins-and-outs of maintaining and troubleshooting high-performing websites on the backend along with various integrations such TractionRec, Veracross, TourCube, TourTools, CRMs in addition to a standard set of plugins that include Advanced Custom Fields, Events Calendar Pro, GravityForms, and more.
  • Be the client’s advocate. Cultivate relationships with our clients and be their advocate for ongoing strategic recommendations that solve their business goals. This involves auditing and resolving issues to ensure account satisfaction; as well as effectively conveying the vision/goals to internal stakeholders and providing proactive progress updates to external stakeholders.
  • Lead internal & client meetings. The Sr. Client Success Strategist will provide clear agendas, and succinct follow-up recaps, outlining next steps and associated due dates after the call to both internal team members and clients.
  • Organize and prioritize task lists for both clients and internal team members. Work directly with internal team members and clients to manage project schedules (e.g. when assets are due, when content is due, etc.) and manage expectations in an organized and thorough manner.
  • Keep projects on time and on budget. You are adept at solving for and mitigating potential risks if the timeline begins to slip by consistently documenting project burn and finding opportunities to optimize where possible.
  • Take part in the resource allocation process. Help ensure that the right team members are assigned and perform work when needed, helping avoid any lag time between an initial client request and a follow up communication to identify a timeline and/or next steps based on that request.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in a full-service digital agency is required. While we will consider candidates with in-house experience, an agency background is preferred.
  • A firm understanding of how websites are built and maintained on WordPress & Drupal, including in-depth experience on how to assign responsibilities and route tasks accordingly based on the client request.
  • Project management skills are also a hard requirement for this role in order to be able to manage and prioritize internal and external tasks and projects while remaining on timeline and within budget.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills are essential in order to lead or participate in team or recurring client calls with marketing directors to C-Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide tactical solutions to meet or exceed client business objectives.
