ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW:
Digital NEST is a workforce development center that has welcomed thousands of youth from working-class, farmworker communities to develop the technical and professional skills they need to achieve their dreams. It is an exciting time for the NEST. We are focused on growth and expansion to five communities across The Monterey Bay and San Joaquin Valley Regions in Northern California by the end of 2026. Digital NEST has Centers in the heart of Watsonville, Salinas, Gilroy and Modesto. The final Digital NEST Center is expected to launch in Stockton in the summer of 2024.
JOB OVERVIEW:
This role will be instrumental in collaborating with instructors to enhance instructional practices, implementing Project Based and Challenge Based learning frameworks, implementing and managing a new Learning Management System (LMS), and developing culturally-responsive curriculum tailored for high school to college-age young adults. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instructional design, LMS administration, curriculum development, and expertise in designing inclusive and engaging learning experiences for diverse student populations. We are seeking a highly collaborative creative problem solver with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, who is passionate about supporting the holistic development of our members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Curriculum Development and Instructional Support (60%)
LMS Implementation and Management (20%)
Curriculum Evaluation and Enhancement (20%)
