Roadster Shop is Hiring a Receiving Clerk Near Lenexa, KS
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of received orders, and ensuring timely processing of goods in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies
- Verify the accuracy of shipments by checking quantities and items against packing lists
- Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Sort, label, and store items in designated areas
- Update inventory records using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
- Communicate with suppliers regarding discrepancies or damaged goods
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
- Proficiency in using order picking equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
