Dialpad is seeking a video production intern to work this summer to work with our Product and Marketing teams. This is an exciting opportunity to see inside a late stage tech startup and get exposure across multiple areas of product, design and engineering. This is a paid internship for Summer 2024, which will run through June 3rd to August 5th. This internship is hybrid in-person/remote, located in San Ramon, CA, and the intern host will be one of our PM directors.
About the Product team
Our Product team collaborates with teams across Dialpad to deliver on our vision of transforming the way businesses communicate and collaborate. Our Product Managers work closely with Design and Engineering to plan, spec, develop, and ship product experiences across all our product lines, including Ai Voice, Ai Contact Center, and Ai Sales Center, to customers around the world, and supported in 10 languages.
About you
At Dialpad, we're committed to helping our customers leverage our products to fulfill all of their businesses' communication and collaboration needs. We are looking for a video production intern to develop and produce a library of product-focused videos that will help Dialpad customers discover, learn about and engage with our products and features more deeply, and ultimately enhance their business communications and customer experiences through Dialpad.
Requirements
- Current student.
- Passion for video production and storytelling.
- Strong experience with Adobe Premier, FinalCut Pro and/or other video editing software.
- Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
- Resourceful self-starter with a creative mindset and a desire to own a project end-to-end.
- 60-90 days preferred (10 business weeks).
- Native English speaker.
What you will achieve
In your first 30 days you will:
- Dive head first into the product experience, developing a deep understanding of our current features/functionality.
- Work with Product and Marketing leaders to identify opportunities where video content can complement the customer journey throughout the product.
- Kick-start a production process for planning, developing, and delivering high-quality video content.
By the end of your internship you will have:
- Collaborated with product, design, and marketing teams to create high-quality, engaging content to be leveraged throughout the Dialpad ecosystem.
- Leveraged mixed media to produce videos that speak to customers' needs, highlight key features, and walk them through these features in an easy-to-understand, but engaging manner.
