General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for identifying and documenting the special service needs of clients (whether the services are readily available) and matching the client with appropriate services.
• Makes regular contact with clients as well as participates in group functions for children, biological, and foster families as required.
• Acts as a liaison with public and private sector workers.
• Keeps client, resource, fiscal, and statistical records as dictated by good practice and required by regulation.
• Childline & DHS FBI clearance results are required prior to beginning employment.
• Bi-lingual/Spanish preferred
• The position will be serving Berks County.

Education/Training: A BA or BS Degree in social service or a related field of study normally required; Master's Degree strongly preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related child welfare or human service position normally required; a minimum of one (1) year in a counseling profession required. Experience in social work or care management is essential.
