Risk Management Framework Analyst

The Opportunity:

As the Risk Manager Framework (RMF) Analyst, you will be the government's trusted advisor on cybersecurity related matters for the production and authorization of DoD systems. You will manage and develop Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages by ensuring each step of the RMF process is executed as outlined in NIST SP 800-37. You will apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, coupled with full industry knowledge.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.

  • Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.

  • Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.

  • Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:

  • 3 years of experience working as a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Analyst

  • 3 years of experience guiding clients through the entire RMF and Authorization to Operate (ATO) process

  • Experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) or Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST) to manage RMF packages

  • Ability to work independently and lead the development of RMF documentation and artifacts to achieve system certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization

  • Ability to validate the implementation of security controls and provide guidance in accordance with NIST SP 800-53A Rev. 4 and DoD publications

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)

  • Possession of excellent collaboration skills, including with internal teams such as developers, engineers, and external vendors

  • CISSP Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
