Part-Time opening for 2nd shift, 4 days a week

Do you want an opportunity to serve with compassion and help others? We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with disabilities in their neighborhood home.

Our Caregivers / DSPs provid e support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around - the - clock care .

Developmental Foundations, a family owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Caregivers / DSPs at our home in Mattoon, IL .

• $17.00 / Hour

• DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications

• DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
• Entry level position

Requirements

• High school diploma or signed transcripts / GED required
• Successfully complete and pass background check
• Weekend availability required and some holidays throughout the year

Responsibilities

• Companionship
• Housekeeping and meal prep
• Assistance with medication
• Assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting
• Ability to stay alert and responsive
