Dermatology Center of Columbia is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Columbia, MO

Join an exciting, growing dermatology practice in Columbia, MO! Dermatology Center of Columbia is looking for experienced Medical Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant that portrays a happy, positive demeanor to join us for full-time work in our office!

Our medical assistant’s daily duties will include the following:

  • Walking patients to their exam rooms
  • Obtaining patient consents for procedures
  • Setting up and assisting physician with medical procedures
  • Reviewing instructions with patients
  • Preparing and maintaining exam rooms
  • Maintaining and tracking medical supply inventory
  • Sterilizing medical instruments
  • Assisting with patient care coordination
  • Assisting with answering phones and scheduling patients
  • Assisting with patient check-in and check-out if needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proficiency on medical software/EMR (Experience with Modernizing Medicine is preferred)
  • Proven ability to work as part of a clinical team
  • Attention to detail and patient care

Job Details:

Full-time, Monday through Thursday, 7:30AM-5:00PM, First and Third Friday of the month 7:30AM-12PM

Pay: $17/hour
