We are looking for a Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly. This is for a strawberry jam manufacturing company!

*Please note that this role requires you to train in the AM shift for a few weeks, once peak season is in full prime it will be Dayshift in November-mid January, Swing shift, mid-January through April, Graveyard May through September, Swing shift in October*

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
• Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
• Supervise and train junior maintenance staff
• Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Perform basic electrical repairs and installations
• Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance principles and practices
• Proficiency in using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Leadership abilities to supervise and train junior maintenance staff
• Welding skills for metal fabrication
• Electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus

Salary: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
