Department of The Navy is Hiring a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST with Security Clearance Near Quantico, VA

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. This job opportunity announcement has a first cut-off 50 applicants. Duties * You will serve as a first-level supervisor, Multiple Threat Alert Center (MTAC) - Force Protection Division Chief at the GG-14 level responsible for managing, directing, and overseeing the analytical activities and personnel assigned. * You will possess senior working-level knowledge of warning intelligence, counterintelligence analysis, counterterrorism analysis and analytic support to force protection. * You will ensure effective integration of intelligence support, collection, and analysis with a focus on protecting Department of the Navy equities from foreign intelligence, terrorism, cyber, criminal, and civil disturbance threats. * You will ensure that all intelligence support is properly documented and reviewed for quality assurance, and related intelligence production (threat assessments, intelligence notes, threat awareness products, etc.) is properly coordinated. * You will engage Department of the Navy intelligence and force protection personnel, the Intelligence Community, law enforcement counterparts, NCIS Field Offices, and NCIS seniors with respect to intelligence and analytical issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing. * You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment. * Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. * Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. * Per the preliminary nationwide injunction on E.O. 14043, COVID-19 vaccinations will not be implemented or enforced. Qualifications GG-14: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Analyzing and/or evaluating counterintelligence, counterterrorism, cyber and/or criminal threat intelligence issues.
