Job Summary
Auto Body "B" Tech
Century Collision Center is looking for an Auto Body Technician to join our team. The Automobile Body Technician repairs damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications using hand tools and power tools. Auto Body Tech's at Century dealer service centers departments can expect a clean, safe and state-of-the-art work environment. The jobs are challenging and extensive training is provided available to those who are career focused.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs
Fill depressions with body filler
Repair damaged fenders and panels
Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment
File, grind and sand repaired surfaces
Refinish repaired surface
Paint surfaces after performing body repairs
Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of experience as a vehicle body repairer or apprentice
Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
Must pass drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
