Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus to customers and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and clean dining area after guests have finished their meals
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during service
